This Privacy Policy explains how Pai's Ventures ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the GSB Soirika website and mobile application (together referred to as the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it from time to time for any updates.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly and data generated when you use our Platform.

1.1 Profile Information

When you create or update your profile, we collect the following details:

Personal details: first name, last name, date of birth, gender, city, state, zip code, country
Background & lifestyle: occupation, annual income, employment type, qualifications, height, weight, marital status, mother tongue, religion, caste, gotra, nakshatra, kuldevta, rashi, blood group, food/drinking/smoking habits
Family details: father's name and number, mother's name and number
Contact details: phone number, contact email
Preferences & bio: user preferences, languages known, NRI status, short bio, and any personal notes
Media: profile photo(s) you upload

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

IP address and device/browser information
Engagement logs, including but not limited to login history, pages viewed, profiles viewed, and actions performed on the Platform

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Verify user identity and maintain a safe community
Display member profiles and enable relevant matches
Process membership payments and maintain subscription status
Improve Platform performance and prevent misuse

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party. Access is limited strictly to verified members of the internal GSB Soirika team for operational purposes only.

We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve user experience. This may collect device information and usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is shared with Firebase.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is securely stored in MongoDB Atlas databases.
Data in transit is protected using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
Although we take reasonable precautions, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. Users are encouraged to use strong passwords and keep their login details private.

4. Data Retention and Account Management

Your data is retained to preserve account continuity and platform records.

Account Disablement: If you disable your account, your profile will no longer be visible to other users and you will not be able to log in. Your data remains stored securely in our system.

Account Reactivation: You may request reactivation by contacting us from your registered phone number. We will verify your identity before restoring access.

Data Deletion: If you wish to permanently delete your data, contact our support team at paigsbsoirika@gmail.com or through the app. We will review your request and complete deletion within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention.

5. Age Requirement

GSB Soirika is intended only for individuals 18 years and older.

We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from anyone under 18.

6. Payments

All payments on the Platform are handled securely through trusted third-party providers such as Razorpay, RevenueCat. In-app purchases will be processes through revenue cat.

We do not store, process, or have access to your UPI, card, or banking information.

These third-party payment services may collect limited user details as necessary to complete a transaction, in accordance with their respective privacy policies. Pai's Ventures and GSB Soirika are not responsible or liable for the collection, storage, or use of data handled by these third-party services.

On need basis, payments are allowed via direct bank transfer and UPI also. In such cases there, we do not collect or store your UPI or banking information.

7. Communication

We may send SMS messages related to onboarding, verification, and essential account updates.

8. International Users

Users residing outside India (including NRI members) acknowledge that their data will be processed and stored in India under Indian data-protection laws.

9. Your Rights and Responsibilities

You have the following rights and options as a registered member of GSB Soirika:

Update or correct your information: You can modify your profile details at any time through the app or website.
Disable your account: You may request account disablement, after which your profile will no longer be visible and you will be unable to log in.
Report other profiles: If you believe another member's profile contains false information or the individual is already married, you may report it to the GSB Soirika team for review and necessary action.
Raise concerns: You may contact us at any time regarding data privacy, misuse, or community-related concerns.

Please note that information displayed on the Platform is intended solely for personal use within the community. While we take steps to prevent misuse, Pai's Ventures and GSB Soirika cannot control or be held responsible for any unauthorized screenshots, downloads, or offline copies of data or profiles taken by other users.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

The revised date at the top indicates the latest version. Continued use of the Platform after any update means you agree to the revised terms.
